Nissan has announced a new plan to produce up to 17 units of the insane Juke-R 2.0. Initially, Nissan referred to the revised Juke-R as only a concept. A month ago, the updated Juke-R made its debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.

Now, a limited-run production is being planned and they want to build up to 17 units, but the final number will obviously depend on customer request. No information has been revealed in regard to the pricing. But it will probably be just as expensive as its predecessor that was available for a cool $590,000 and only a handful of units were made.

This new and improved version borrows the GT-R NISMO’s twin-turbo V6 3.8-L engine with 600 PS (441 kW) and 652 Nm (481 lb-ft) of torque. Performance details have also not yet been revealed. It’s safe to say it is considerably quicker than the less powerful old variantwhich covered the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) run in 3.7 seconds and had a 160 mph (257 km/h) top speed.
